  • Tom Claycomb

    Tom Claycomb graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, and Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, TN. He has been a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Kentucky since 2008.

    After beginning his career working for one of Kentucky’s largest law firms, Tom established Claycomb Law Office, PLLC in his hometown of Hodgenville, and began representing clients across Kentucky with his father, Robert Claycomb. Since 2014, Tom has served as Master Commissioner of the LaRue Circuit Court. He also serves as outside counsel to the LaRue County School Board and LaRue County Water District No. 1.

    Tom is an active member of various community organizations, currently serving on the Board of Directors of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin, and the Lincoln Trail Area Development District. He and Catherine have been married since 2009, and they are the proud parents of two sons, Peyton and Jones.

  • Catherine Ford Claycomb

    Catherine Ford Claycomb is a native of Owensboro, KY. She graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, and Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, TN. She has been a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Kentucky since 2007.

    After graduating from Vanderbilt, Catherine completed a federal clerkship with Judge Thomas B. Russell of the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. She then moved to one of the region’s most respected law firms to practice civil litigation for five years before joining Claycomb Law Office, PLLC as a partner. Catherine primarily provides real estate closing and title services, and previously served as Hodgenville City Attorney. She and Tom have been married since 2009 and have two young boys.

  • John Nicholas

    John is a native of Hodgenville, Kentucky, graduating from LaRue County High School in 2006. John attended the University of Kentucky, where he graduated cum laude from the School of Arts & Sciences, with a major in English and a minor in Political Science. Following his undergraduate studies, John continued his education at the J. David Rosenberg College of Law at the University of Kentucky, where he obtained a Juris Doctor while graduating a semester early. In law school, he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board.

    After graduating from law school, John clerked for the late Hon. Margaret Huddleston of the Warren County Family Courts. Thereafter he worked with private firms in Bowling Green and Elizabethtown before coming home to Hodgenville and joining Claycomb Law Office, PLLC.

    John has practiced cases in every county in the I-65 corridor, representing clients vigorously. He has taught continuing legal education to other lawyers and has won published cases in front of the Kentucky Court of Appeals. He is licensed to practice law in Kentucky and in Federal Court in the Western District of Kentucky.

    John lives in Hodgenville with his wife, Emily and their three daughters.

  • Valerie Whitlock McCubbin

    Valerie Whitlock McCubbin is a native of Hodgenville, KY. She earned her undergraduate degree from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, her Master’s at the University of Kentucky Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce, and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in Lexington, KY. Valerie has been a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Kentucky since 2021.

    Following her graduation from law school, Valerie clerked with Judge Phillip Shepherd, chief circuit court judge for the 48th Judicial Circuit. She then practiced commercial mortgage-backed securities lending and servicing transactions at one of the region’s leading law firms before joining Claycomb Law Office, PLLC. Valerie's practice primarily focuses on real estate closings and title services, estate planning, and probate matters. She also serves as outside counsel to the LaRue County School Board. She and her husband Max live in Hodgenville with their son, Teddy.

  • Lora Lamb

    Lora Setters Lamb is a native of Hodgenville. After attending Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, VA and Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA, Lora and her husband, Jason, chose to return to Hodgenville to start a family and have been blessed with two boys. Lora joined Claycomb Law Office, PLLC in 2019 as a legal assistant and office manager.

  • Whitley Duncan

    Whitley is a native of Western Kentucky but has strong family ties to the LaRue County area. She is a graduate of LaRue County High School and has called Hodgenville home since 2012. In the future, Whitley hopes to obtain a degree in professional legal studies. Whitley joined Claycomb Law Office, PLLC as a legal assistant in 2022.
